Our client, Argent, is a UK property developer specialising in mixed use developments with a focus on placemaking and regeneration. One of their current developments, King’s Cross is one of the largest and most exciting redevelopments in London.
The 67-acre site has a rich history and a unique setting. After successfully delivering a number of projects for Argent across the King’s Cross development, 8build were appointed to undertake the fit out of a resident’s gym and private dining area in the partially occupied Tapestry building.
Tapestry is an outstanding collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments, townhouses and penthouses. The project consisted of the delivery of CAT ‘A’ space from shell and core on Level 8 for a communal residents’ gym and dining area.
The dining area also consists of a prep kitchen and toilet facilities which residents are able to reserve for entertaining purposes. The existing services inherited from the base build contractor required alterations and adaptions to suit the new layout along with ensuring correct connection protocol applied during the works.
