3R's
Everyone creates waste in their daily activities, we look to minimise the impact of this by applying the principle of the ‘3R’s’ –  Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

In the first instance looking to reduce the volume of environmental waste produced, whether by reducing the volume or type of packaging used by a supplier, or grouping product onto single deliveries to reduce the emissions from our delivery vehicles. Where possible we look to reuse waste that is produced by, or associated with, our projects and activities. For example, should we be striping out carpet tiles from a project we will look for charities that can benefit from their use, rather than sending them to a landfill site somewhere, or we might send pallets back to suppliers when they deliver to us so as they can be reused on the next delivery of material. Finally we will look to recycle, in the simplest instance it would be the collection and recycling of paper in the site office, or it may be the separation of demolition waste for crushing so as it can be recycled into hardcore.

Our commitment can be demonstrated by the fact that we have recycled 87% of all our site waste, many of our sites achieve as high as 97%.
