In Building Magazines 2008 Good Employers Guide, 8build have ranked in the top 5 in 8 out of 13 categories. Throughout the summer, they sent out 30,000 surveys to firms within the construction industry. These surveys were carried out anonymously by staff members who rated their company and jobs for social responsibility, smarter working, fun and enjoyment, leadership, inspiration and ability to contribute.
Not only did we gain recognition among such fierce competition as one of the top 5 contractors to work for, but we were delighted that we were acknowledged for our social responsibility, feel good factor, inspiration, leadership and our ability to contribute. It was also an achievement to be classed as a medium-sized firm, displaying the remarkable progression of 8build since its inception in 2005 and our commitment to the standards of being a good employer within our industry.
Founding Director, Nigel Bellamy spoke at Buildings Good Employers Conference on the company’s policies and progression.
