8build Secure £137k Fit-out for Legal & General Restack Project
The Legal & General Group was established in 1836 and is now one of the UK’s leading financial services companies. Over 5.75 million people rely on them for life assurance, pensions, investments and general insurance plans.
They required an existing team to be placed into a new CAT ‘B’ space through a re-stack project in their London offices of No 1 Coleman Street. Works will involve fitting out the floor on level 2 over the duration of 7 weeks. The development will include the renovation of open plan areas, corridors and break out areas, as well as the demolition of some departments and replacing with new cellular offices. Predominantly construction will have to take place out of office hours, as staff from Legal & General will operate as usual.
As a result of these works, an area of 3,000ft2 will become available, which will be transformed to a CAT ‘B’ status for a sub-let tenant and consist mainly of M&E works.
