8build have Entered the 'Little Britain Challenge Cup 2008'

It’s that time of year again, when 8build are looking forward to heading to the solent to compete against fellow industry professionals in the Little Britain Challenge Cup at the Isle of Wight, on 11th – 14th September. This is the biggest regatta in the UK after Skandia Cowes week and has grown from 3 to 250 entries.

Last year Little Britain raised over £160,000 just for several charities such as the Ellen MacArthur Trust, Blind at Sea and the Cowes Inshore Lifeboat. This year many other charities are being supported, such as the Paralympics Sailing Team, St John’s Ambulance and the Island Youth Water Activity Centre to name a few.

Last year Amey were the overall winners for the 2nd year running and 8build finished in 9th place in class 2. This year we have signed up our crew, who have set their sights on a winning position in the competition. Mean while back at head quarters, we will not be holding our breath!
