The Good Employers Guide aims to publicise the very best employers in the construction sector with company selection being based upon a confidential staff survey. The Guide will only showcase those companies that prove to be Good Employers in the eyes of their employees and who are top in their class.

Throughout the summer, employees were sent surveys to firms within the construction industry. These surveys were carried out anonymously by staff members who rated their company and jobs for social responsibility, smarter working, feel good factor, leadership, inspiration, ability to contribute and current market conditions. 8build scored highly in all areas beating off competition from companies like Mace and Willmott Dixon.

The company understand that even in tough times, it is as important as ever to ensure employees are more than satisfied in their roles and this satisfaction will enable high levels of productivity and retention.
